Fragtoberfest was so great. My daughter bought two beautiful riccordias, my son and I each bought a nice frag of Zoas, and my wife bought a fantastic hammer coral. We took the corals home and got them situated then we emptied out the piggy bank and returned for round 2. :D

When we got back we found out that my son had won a door prize, he got a Bnarc t shirt and a bag of goodies. I picked up a really neat guide book for Marine Invertebrates and a sea squirt for target feeding some of my corals.Spent all but my last $5 on raffle tickets. That $5 went for a nice little rock of green palys and a free orange mushroom on a snail shell.

We split up our raffle tickets and ended up winning a microbe lift T shirt that my daughter was hoping to get.It has a lionfish on the front.She was so happy. We also won a six bottles of different Seachem aqua vitro suppliments and a bottle of Purple Up. Thank you to the sponsors that donated all of the prizes.

We were leaving and intended to hit the grocery store to buy some dinner and it turns out that they were selling large bags of the pulled pork that they were serving. We snatched one up and had sandwiches for dinner.It was so great.
My only regret was not having more money to spend.there were so many things I wanted but could not get.Maybe next time....:p

:D So glad you and the whole family had a great time. Erin ( My daughter, the one pulling raffle tickets, was so excited your daughter got one of
"her" mushrooms!) She cleaned up better then mom with her ticket getting her a clown fish from Ricordias and more - how the child wins when she only bought 4 tickets I will never understand! BUT she is thrilled and so am I. It was good to see folks today, but I think I am going to collapse in a heap now!!!

yes +1 on the thank you. I didn't quite have the luck ChairmanKaga did but my family did walk away with a few good favias and the wife finally found her a nice clam. The BNARC fragfest is something we look forward to every year. This time i even payed my dues to finally become a member.(only took 4 years or so). Thanks again!

There are so many in the club that volunteer help to put together Fragtoberfest. Without them, none of this great event would happen. So, I am going to say Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to some of the folks that went way above and beyond;
Tyler (Funky187) really came through for helping to contact vendors and suppliers for the raffle.
Louis (Lego Z) for the great computer work for the Fragtoberfest pages.
Ben (Chops) for the always amazing BBQ. I just can't get enough! Also, for proving the PA sytem. (Amy and I can be only so much of a loud mouth-LOL!)
Bret (Blueroof) for supplying the Culver's bags for goody bags, the Butter Burgers and Concrete mixers on Friday night setup.
Everyone who helped with the Admission table and Raffle ticket sales.

Also, a Special Thank You to all our vendors at Fragtoberfest. Some traveled many miles- Ricordea's and More from Bismark North Dakota, Way North Corals from upper Michigan, Dirk Griffin from Minnesota.

I would encourage you to patronize our vendors and suppliers who make this all possible. Let them know you are part of BNARC- to recognize your appreciation for helping make Fragtoberfest happen.

I am sure I have left some out unintentiously. (I am only on my 1st cup of coffee and the brain hasn't kicked in much!)

i had a great time!! and iits always nice to put faces with names. this was the first frag fest i have ever been to, and fuels my addiction. thanks to everyone who was a part of making this possible!! i think its very funny that leland won enough microbe-lift to treat the ocean!!! i got my chance to eat some of the soon to be worlds famous bennys bbq!!!!!
