Found this in my aquarium the other day. It happened once before, but I didn't have my camera on me. Both times I thought the coral was dying because it looks so ratty the day before it starts. The tan dots are eggs I believe.

I haven't noticed any new starts, but I'm definitely keeping my eyes peeled. When the eggs "hatch" they release free swimming planktonic larvae. I have a feeling they probably get sucked up by the skimmer though. So far most of the eggs have disappeared and only a few remain.

This is a pretty hardy coral, I've had several colonies pop up around the tank. most in low light areas. The colony pictured above is in a high light area. I'm willing to share, just need to get some super glue!
