I found this article while perusing Glass Box Design:

It says those tiger sponges are actually colonial tunicates and are really hard to take care of. Interesting information. Anyone had any luck keeping theirs alive?

i have 2 in my moms tank for about 5 months now that are doing great. the one in my tank is slowly going away

Thanks for the info. Does your Mom do anything special such as feed lots of phytoplankton?

Just tropic Marin power the zoo and the phyto twice a day. And lots of rotifers

Reef Depot had a couple that were spreading overtheir egg crates a few months back. They were all "just happened"
