What should your water pressure be for optimum RO output? I have been making water to fill up my system. I put all new filters in and have 42 lbs pressure and am only getting maybe 20 gal a day on a 75gpd system.

in the winter you will tend to have reduced pressures and production. 40lbs is the minimum, they usually recommend 60-65 for ideal. in the winter i get about 45, summer it is right at 60.

Make sure you did not lose the flow restrictor in you waste water line. Running without one really slows production.

I installed a gauge a few weeks ago just to see what mine is and its about 65 right now. I have city water and close to a pumping station. I don't know what it is in the summer. I bought the gauge from BRS, they told me I'm fine without a booster at 65 but I'm not sure what the minimum is. I'm guessing a booster pump will do more to get good water through the membrane and not waste so much.
